This hands-on workshop aims to provide participants with knowledge and skills for the diagnosis of parasitic diseases.

Objectives: At the end of the day participants will be able to:

         Collect and preserve fecal specimens.

         Prepare different wet mounts of fecal specimens.

         Examine fecal specimens macroscopically and microscopically.

         Recognize and identify parasites present in stool samples.

         Perform formol ether concentration technique.
