UNDP, Hall 2, On Wednesday 23rd of April 2025, 10:00 am-1:00 pm
We are pleased to share that our department recently hosted a
Workshop by Dr. Eman Sayed El-Wakil, Associate Professor of
Medical Parasitology, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute.
We are delighted to announce the successful completion of a specialized workshop organized by our
department, focusing on the Comprehensive Aspects of Stool Analysis. This workshop provided an in-depth
overview combining both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, offering valuable insights for
participants across various academic and technical levels.
The academic component covered essential information on the types of parasitological organisms that may be
present in stool samples, the array of diagnostic tests used in stool analysis, and the interpretation and
structure of the final laboratory report.
In addition, the workshop featured a practical session, where attendees had the opportunity to observe and
examine real stool samples under the microscope, under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Eman Sayed.
The workshop was attended by a diverse group of professionals and academics, including laboratory
technicians, chemists, assistant lecturers, assistant professors, and professors.
