  • 1981 graduated from the faculty of medicine. Passed one year for general training
  • 1983 started the career as a resident of neurology and psychiatry for three years in Ain Shams University’s hospitals. Trained on clinical neurology, clinical psychiatry and neurophysiology. Prepared the M. Sc. Thesis on “The role of evoked potentials in neuropsychiatric disorders”.
  • 1985 passed the exam, for the master degree. Promoted for a job of assistant lecturer on neuropsychiatry in Ain Shams University. Continued practice in the lab of neurophysiology.
  • 1988 Finished the M.D. thesis on “Modern techniques in the diagnosis of cerebrovascular ischemic disorders”.
  • 1989 Passed the exam, for the degree of MD
  • 1989 Promoted for a job of lecturer of neuropsychiatry in Ain Shams University.
  • 1992 Worked as a director of neurology unit in the specialized hospital of Ain Shams University for 12 months.
