The Department of Community, Environmental and Occupational Medicine offers many specializations and degrees that are among the needs of the current era. The science of public health and community medicine is the only one of its kind that deals with the promotion of individual health in society and the preventive aspect of medical and health practice.

· The department has the honour to teach and train students applying for masters and doctoral degrees in epidemiology, which is an emerging science and is indispensable in the study of all diseases.

· As for occupational medicine and industries, the department offers this degree at all levels for those who want to specialize in environmental and occupational exposures that may cause health problems.

· Another specialty has joined the previous specialties of different scientific degrees, which is considered the hallmark of the era of health and medical sciences, which is the quality of health services, and it is an important and necessary science in the development and improvement of health services and the performance of health care providers at all levels.

· The department also participates in offering public health, community medicine, epidemiology and medical statistics courses for many other medical specialties from inside and outside the college.

· Our Department includes 25 Emeritus Professors, 18 Professors, 11 Assistant Professors, 16 Lecturers, 16 Assistant Lecturers, 20 Demonstrators.

· Department members have published more than 400 international and local research papers and supervised more than 400 scientific dissertations.
