Incoming Electives

Welcome & Greetings

The Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, is delighted to extend a warm invitation for you to join our  Exchange Program. This program serves as a remarkable platform for undergraduate and postgraduate short term mobility and collaboration between the ASU School of Medicine, ASU Hospitals, and institutions worldwide.

At Ain Shams University, we firmly believe in the power of knowledge exchange, cultural immersion, and the transformative impact they have on the future of healthcare. Our Student Exchange Program aims to foster a dynamic environment conducive to the circulation of innovative ideas, rich experiences, and diverse cultures. By bridging the gap between our aspiring doctors and the global medical community, our ultimate goal is to enhance healthcare outcomes for patients around the world.

In our comprehensive training program, participants will have the invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in clinical skills across a range of settings, including outpatient clinics, emergency departments, and various practical skills in the operating room. Additionally, participants will also have the privilege of gaining valuable experience in research and developing essential academic skills.

Kindly note that it is a short term elective training with a minimum duration of 1 month and a maximum of 6 months at the same department.

By the end of the training, the student receives a signed stamped certificate with the duration and department of the clinical elective training.
