Cultural Relations Guide

School holidays

  • Study leave for all scientific subjects for the doctoral thesis for one year and renewed for a second year with a salary paid with income
  • Training leave for one year with salary and renewal for a second year without salary
  • Study leave to obtain a doctorate from abroad from one to five years to obtain a doctorate with a salary The study leave for teaching assistants and assistant teachers ranges between one month and three months and a year for all scientific subjects or training or obtaining a doctorate from abroad with a salary with a disbursement of income

Documents required for travel on study leave

  • A letter from the authority to which he is delegated, including accommodation, living and study expenses, and a translation of the incoming letter into Arabic from an accredited office.
  • Approval of the department council to travel with renewal of the period, travel dates and place of travel (with or without salary) + a visa from the Department of Faculty Affairs after the travel by them
  • A financial bank (a letter from the bank with a balance of no less than $5800 per year) if the authority to which he is delegated bears the expenses of residence and study.
  • (4) Security survey forms + 4 personal photos
  • (3) data and pledge forms for the member delegated on study leave
  • Number (3) clear the party – Number (2) Activate the email
  • Original + photocopy of a status statement from the University’s Faculty Affairs Department
  • Certificate + photocopy of postgraduate studies confirming doctoral registration
  • Certificate + photo from the faculty affairs at the college
  • A copy of the identity card (national number)
  • Spitting image of the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree, if available
  • Medical statement Form 111 Health insurance (medically fit for travel abroad)
  • Fulfilling financial commitments and submitting a copy of the student’s valid national ID card and its guarantor
  • 4 plastic files + 9 stamps in a denomination of 1 pound + 9 stamps in a denomination of 2 pounds

Joint supervision missions

  • The approval of Mr. Pro-D / Minister of Higher Education as a result of the plan, the following documents will be provided to us:
  • The approval of the department council to open the scientific channel
  • (3) A statement form indicating the date of appointment of a teaching assistant and assistant teacher and an assessment of competence in the last two years
  • A statement certified and sealed by the Department of Graduate Studies with the date of registration, the date of approval of the President of the University, the title of the thesis, the names of the supervisors + a copy
  • A statement from the Department of Faculty Affairs on the date of appointment
  • Original + copy of the protocol in Arabic and English
  • Two (2) copies of the foreign supervisor’s approval to open the channel
  • Email activation (2 photos).
  • Number (2) of the linguistic level to which the member is assigned
  • Status statement Original + copy from the Department of Faculty Affairs from the university

Scientific missions

  • To be appointed in the position of teacher – Prof / assistant – professor
  • Obtained approval from the authority to which he was delegated, specifying the date of travel.
  • Department Council approval
  • Two (2) copies of the approval of the authority to which he is delegated, to be translated by an accredited office
  • Three (3) data and approval forms.
  • (3) Disclaimer approved by the head of the department
  • (3) Security forms with 3 personal photos.
  • (2) The plan of the scientific mission in Arabic and English approved by the head of the department.
  • Original + copy of a status statement from the University’s Faculty Affairs Department
  • Number (2) to activate the college’s email
  • Submit all documents at least one month before the date of travel
  • Travel shall not take place except after the approval of the President of the University and the approval of the Security.

Conferences, courses and workshops without expenses

  • The department’s approval to attend the conference one month before the scheduled date, without expenses
  • Date of birth Date of appointment to the last job
  • Two (2) copies of the conference, courses, seminars or workshops prospectus
  • One (1) form for attending a conference or seminars and workshops, signed by the member and the head of the department
  • Three (3) opinion poll forms with personal photos like some
  • Activate the email
  • Plastic file

Conferences, courses and workshops with the contribution of the university

  • The department’s approval to attend the conference a month before the scheduled date, indicating the university’s contribution to expenses
  • Date of birth         Date of appointment in the last job
  • Two (2) copies of the conference, courses, seminars or workshops prospectus
  • Two (2) copies of the complete research
  • Two (2) copies stating that the research has been accepted for delivery
  • Three (3) opinion poll forms with personal photos like some
  • One (1) the conference return, its importance and signature by the member and the head of the department
  • Two (2) proof of conference registration

C D include the research published from 2000— 2020

  • One (1) form for attending a conference or seminars and workshops, signed by the member and the head of the department
  • Activate the email
  • Plastic file
