Prof. Dr. Fathi El Sharkawy, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs and Dr. Mohamed Yusuf, deputy chairman of the Arab Contractors Company and former Minister of Technical Education signed a cooperation between in order to exchange experiences in various fields. This was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Muharram, deputy director of Open Learning Center and Mr. Salah Abdel Azim, Secretary General of the university and Sheriff Hamdy director of Technological Institute of Construction Engineering and Mr. Hossam Hosni, secretary of Open Education Center.

Moreover, Prof. Dr. Fathi El Sharkawy has stressed the importance of such scientific and practical partnerships, where the academic awareness of the university was integrated with the technical and practical side represented by the Arab Contractors Company that contribute to the construction and development of a lot of national projects in Egypt as well as large overseas projects.

E.D. Mohammad Yousuf praised the level of Ain Shams University graduates, especially Faculty of Engineering. He confirmed that the university is the expertise house which company has utilizes various consultations. He noted that Egypt is on the verge of structural and architectural boom through major national projects such as the new administrative capital and a network of modern roads and confirmed the need to provide technical workers trained and developed to realize these projects.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, director of Open Education Center and deputy dean of agriculture for Community Service and Environmental Development explained that through the Open Learning Centre will make diplomas for professional training of employees of the company include the fields of (human development, concrete structure works, the implementation of asphalt roads, engineering project management and construction and other fields required by the labor market.
